Supporting Our Teachers – An Update on Class Fees

We are so grateful to have you as part of our Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga community. Your dedication and energy bring life to our classes, and we truly appreciate your ongoing support.

Since the Community Benefit Society was formed to own and run our Centre over a decade ago remuneration for our teachers has not increased to keep pace with the rising cost of living. We want to ensure that our incredible teachers—who bring so much skill, passion, and experience to every class—are recognised and rewarded appropriately for their learning and dedication.  With this in mind we need to introduce a class fee adjustment which will allow us to increase teacher remuneration.

Starting from our Spring Term (21 April 2025), our new class fees will be:

 £12 for a 60-minute class
 £14 for a 75-minute class
 £15 for a 90-minute class

We will continue offering our popular 10-class package with 10 classes for the price of 9 and would encourage students to take up this option. As always, we remain deeply committed to making yoga accessible to all and wish to avoid cost becoming an impediment to any of our students continuing their yoga journey. Please get in touch if this is a concern for you.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for helping us honour and sustain our wonderful teaching community. We look forward to seeing you on the mat soon!

With gratitude,

The Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre Community Benefit Society Board
