This is a 'face to face' class at The Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre.
Centre Classes will be limited to a maximum of 10 places for Block 1-22.
Our equipment cupboards will be available again but we recommend bringing your own mat/blocks if possible.
Please arrive dressed for your class to minimise time in the changing rooms.

LEVEL 1 CLASS
Level 1 classes are suitable for people who have started Iyengar yoga in our beginners' classes or have less than two years’ experience of Iyengar yoga.
They are also for anyone who prefers to consolidate their yoga practice at this level.
I was introduced to yoga in 2000, starting with Hatha and subsequently Vinyasa yoga classes. This led to my training as a Hatha yoga teacher in India in 2006.
Shortly afterwards I deepened my understanding of the asanas through Iyengar yoga. The Iyengar detailed, logical approach with the support of props opened up a whole new insight of the poses for me.
I qualified as an Iyengar teacher in 2011. I have since studied at the Iyengar institute in Pune, and have been taught by many other excellent teachers, both at home and abroad. I am qualified to level 2.
I love the fact that what starts as a simple stretch, permeates out into the rest of your life, affecting your relationship with yourself and your approach to life in general. To share that with others, as a student and a teacher, is a privilege.
